Strong, Smart and Bold Breakfast
of Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey
On Wednesday, March 5th, we will honor three extraordinary women who, through their work and community service, have made strong, smart and bold contributions to the Greater Philadelphia region. These outstanding women embody all that Girls Inc. supports and we are proud to recognize them.
This year’s Roots and Branches theme symbolizes the impact that local women can have on younger generations as well as the powerful influence that Girls Inc. programming has on the young women who participate and are supported by our work. Girls Inc. girls blossom and grow through the mentoring, education and counseling programs provided by a strong team of staff and volunteers, just as trees flourish when nurtured with interest and care. The Girls Inc. mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Each year, Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey reaches girls in their homes, in school and in the community to help them to achieve the promise of their lives.
